Once Between Two Dreams In The Land of Ardithian…
Energy became extraordinary and books became magical…
Family became complicated and time shifted sideways…
The ordinary became spectacular while dangers abound…
Three siblings and one extraordinary friend eventually found one another in the middle of it all…
And became heroes despite themselves…
Just beyond the edge of everything you know exists a world created for one purpose: to offer the living a second chance...
Young Minterton’s life couldn’t be more ordinary-or more disappointing ever since his mother dropped him off at boarding school and left him there.
He would rather live in a tree house and become a forest king, but would settle for anywhere but where he was.
As fate would have it, a most unexpected elder stepped in bringing Mint to live with him in his lighthouse – an island teeming with unpredictability and wonder.
Horrid and evil strangers arrived, throwing Mint into captivity with a rather odd little girl who just so happened to have rainbow colored eyes. Challenge connected them, imagination saved them, and their friendship whisked them away into the other worldly lands of Ardithian.
Energy became extraordinary and books became magical…
Family became complicated and time shifted sideways…
Ultimately, the young dreamer of forests and several extraordinary friends learned the hard way that family was worth fighting for, courage was called for, and the two of them were destined for much greater things. Saving their world could wait.

Part of the Land of Ardithian project is having a solo show to showcase over 86 original works of contemporary art tied to the series, The Predictably Unpredictable Tales From The Land Of Ardithian. For the month of October at The Mobile Arts Council, this show will be available with the openings on October 10th from 5-7 and the 11th, during Artwalk, from 5-8. An artists talk will be hosted on Saturday, October 26.
For those unable to attend live, here is a video that captures the show. It is quite surreal to see the scope of the project and the body of work, especially with the knowledge of how much work and passion went into it.
This is also a traveling show and if you are a venue looking for more info of a possible show, please contact me at info@ardithgoodwin.com
