My journey has been quite remarkable. I don’t say that in an arrogant way, but rather in a knowing that what I have lived and learned through these extraordinary experiences has had an impact on some folks in resonant ways. In my heart I am and will always be a teacher and I hold that as a calling. Inspiring others to grasp the truth and enormity that their lives and contributions matter in this world are so important to me as well as opening their eyes and hearts to a story about how an ordinary girl overcame extraordinary things and used creativity and the arts to change her stars.
