Glass spheres, orbs, and marbles have been objects of delight in my world since I was a child. They captivate me. To hold one in my hand delights me but to view daylight streaming through one and casting its brilliant colors and patterns everywhere, for me, is magic and I knew these objects had to be my primary magic system in The Land of Ardithian.

As an Ardithian, if you hold a Vimisphere in your hand and crush it, its energy is released and you are able to use it, harness it, and wield it. Once you use it, it reforms and can be used again, but only certain ones. Some are temporary and powerful, others are absolutely absurd, but all serve an important role in the world and the narrative of the stories. Certain Ardithians are gifted three main Vimispheres, a pink one of HOPE, a blue one of Peace and Calm, and a yellow one of Courage. Other Vimispheres, especially the more powerful ones that manipulate time, transportation, and even life itself are highly coveted.

As part of the lifestyle and education in The Land of Ardithian, children learn the power and use of Vimispheres from a young age because they play the Vimisphere game and tournaments. They create their own vimispheres, their own imaginary energy, and role play using a unique board as a way to explore and discover the power and creativity of the energy systems in their world. The Vimisphere tournament is a turning point in the series and Book 4 is focused on these wild and amazing energy spheres and the game that shifts everything.

36 total Vimispheres exist and here are the first initial nine. They will be introduced and available as the shows and series evolves, Each are painted on 13” by 13” wood or MDF panels and are $650 each with a small additional shipping and packaging fee.
